About
The Hart House at the University of Toronto, Nestled on a Beautiful Campus, Is A Gorgeous Place to Tie the Knot.
The St. George campus at the University of Toronto campus is well known for its beauty and distinguished buildings. Hence it is no surprise that the Hart House is right at home in the midst of this stunning setting.
Products & Services
The Hart House also offers a complimentary menu tasting for the bride and groom. But keep in mind that these tastings are done four times a year with other couples. If you are interested in serving a customized menu you will need to book a private tasting which is an additional cost. Also, Hart House is a cultural arts building and often has activities taking place there. The facility will do its best to make sure you are aware of any events so as to plan for parking and privacy. This is another area in which your coordinator can be very helpful.
Packages & Pricing
Once you have chosen Hart House for your wedding (and of course given your deposit to secure the date) you will be assigned a wedding coordinator. The event planner will help you with all aspects of your big day from theme and decor to wine selection and menu choices. All catering is done in house. The only thing you would have to be responsible for is supplying the wedding cake. Furthermore, the Hart House handles all liquor licenses as well as providing the tables, chairs and linens. Your wedding planner can also suggest a photographer (or you can certainly source one on your own) especially since you will definitely want to have your photos taken at Hart House. (Couples NOT having their wedding or reception at Hart House are not permitted to have wedding photos taken there.) If you want to take your photos on another area of campus you will need a permit. You or your wedding coordinator can contact the Office of Space Management at 416-978-2187 for additional information regarding cost and fees.
