The Chelsea Hotel, “a little city within a city” are the words used to describe the venue. We couldn’t agree more. The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto, close to area attractions and great for sightseeing . Inside the hotel are several shops and restaurants for your guests to enjoy and the out of town relatives will certainly want to make a weekend of it.
The outside venue, the Market Garden Patio is idyllic with a central fountain and a clock tower. There are vintage lamp posts spread about and white lights set a beautiful ambiance for the cocktail hour, or after-dinner music and dancing.

Once a couple has reserved the Chelsea, they are assigned a wedding specialist who is with the couple from start to finish, immediately sending them a planning portfolio with suggested suppliers and vendors. (There is even a flower shop in the hotel!) The Chelsea Hotel’s culinary team is excited to work with couples to create a meal for their tastes. The staff offer 20 years of combined experience. Needless to say you are in very capable hands with this aptly named “wedding gurus.”
Another great perk is that there is a parking garage right underground the hotel and guests can just leave their car for the weekend and walk about the city. (There is a nominal fee for parking.)
Everything is within arm’s length and there is no need to travel anywhere. The hotel has lovely guest rooms (including a beautiful honeymoon suite), a well-equipped luxury pool, and a children’s play area. This truly is your “one stop shop” for the happy couple and their lucky guests!
Packages & Pricing
For couples looking for an authentic beach wedding to hold their ceremony, Chelsea Beach is a great option. It is a designated area on Centre Island where the hotel has access and can host a wedding ceremony. The Chelsea will help with all the details from transporting guests, providing an on-site wedding officiant and helping organize the reception back at the hotel venue.

The hotel has also hosted JUNO award events and one couple’s wedding at the Chelsea was televised on a segment for Breakfast Television!
