TELL US MORE: Nestled on 10.2 acres, Steckle Heritage Farm is comprised of a beautiful 1840 bank barn, original buildings, and incredible surroundings. This heritage-designated site is a wonderful place to celebrate the most important day of your life. With beautiful green grounds and an authentically rustic feel, this versatile venue is a perfect choice for your wedding.
The old bank barn is an ideal space to host your wedding. The interior is beautifully furnished with hand-hewn beams, rustic wood floors, and sunlight streaming in through the barnboard. New wheelchair-accessible washroom facilities were added to the interior of the barn in 2017! Because the barn is not able to be heated or cooled, wedding bookings are only available from mid-May through to the end of October. Capacity is 350 for ceremony and reception. A stage, updated electrical, and additional decorative options are available for use.
Steckle Heritage Farm partners with outside vendors for wedding services. The farm offers 5 Local Catering Companies, for catering and bar services. They offer a broad array of culinary options for your special day. Well-lit parking is available for guests, and the facility is wheelchair accessible. Steckle Heritage Farm also hosts various special events. Consider celebrating your engagement party and bridal shower at this vintage venue.
Steckle Heritage Farm is close to Homer Watson Park and Stanley Park Conservation Area in the city of Kitchener. Hotels are an 8-minute drive away, and both Hwy 8 and the 401 are within great proximity. For guests that are traveling a distance to celebrate with you, the Region of Waterloo International Airport is only 21 minutes from the venue.
