CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATION: Rebel Creek Golf Club “We were absolutely captivated by the ceremony space and the outdoor area. With its cozy fire pits, which created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Nicole was truly wonderful to work with; her professionalism and warmth made the decision easy after visiting three other venues. This setting felt like the perfect choice for our garden party wedding, from the moment we arrived.” – C

COLOUR PALETTE: “Our garden party wedding theme embraced whites, vibrant floral accents, and an array of greens. From sage and eucalyptus to rich emerald it created a lush, natural foundation. The fresh, joyful energy of this palette set a lively, enchanting atmosphere that felt both relaxed and romantic. Perfectly suited to a garden celebration. For the table decor, we chose crisp white linens with green napkins. Complemented by bud vases filled with colourful blooms and candle holders throughout. The result was a beautifully cohesive and romantic setting, where every detail contributed to the warmth and charm of the day.”
TELL US YOUR STORY!: “Kevin and I met in Toronto, just a month before the pandemic unexpectedly changed the world. We quickly fell for each other, and as the city slowed down, we decided to hunker down together. Navigating those strange early days side by side. With both of us working from home, we settled into a new routine, getting to know each other in ways we never could have anticipated. Our days were filled with a mix of work meetings and shared lunch breaks. We found joy in the simplest things to break up the quiet pace of lockdown life.
We cooked together often, with Kevin as my sous chef. Trying out new recipes and turned dinners into little date nights, making the best of our time together at home. We shared a love of golf, and weekends on the course gave us a chance to laugh, unwind, and enjoy a little friendly competition. Game nights were lively, thanks to our Leafs vs. Habs rivalry, which kept things interesting and gave us something to look forward to. Some of our favourite memories from this time included visiting family in Kitchener and Quebec, as well as unwinding at the cottage, where we could truly enjoy each other’s company.
Six months later, we took the next step and moved in together. By saving throughout the pandemic, we were able to buy a house in KW two years later, excited to put down roots and create a home together. Three years after we met, we got engaged, and over the past year, we’ve poured our hearts into planning our wedding. From DIY projects to collaborating with family and friends, we wanted every detail to reflect our journey. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how our story grew from those early days in Toronto to a life filled with good times, shared adventures, and countless cherished memories.” – C

FAVOURITE MEMORY: “Our ceremony was truly unforgettable. Held in the beautiful setting of Rebel Creek’s 12th hole of the course, we were surrounded by all our favourite people, making it even more special. My best friend officiated, adding a personal touch that made the exchange of vows deeply meaningful. It was a moment filled with love, warmth, and the joy of having everyone we cherish there to witness it.” – C
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: “Take it step by step leading up to the big day, rather than packing everything into the final months. Savor the planning process—it goes by so fast! And above all, soak up every moment of your wedding day.” – C
