When you book your wedding at Alton Mill Arts Centre, you can hold your ceremony and reception in a combination of the venue’s idyllic event spaces. The 19th-century industrial-chic venue boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that surround you and your guests with art and nature. The property features lush greenery or a blanket of sparkling snow, depending on which season you marry in. Our largest space is the Annex Courtyard, formed by the restored stone walls of the original wool warehouse topped with a spectacular seasonal tent roof. Inside the mill, you can choose from several function rooms and galleries for your reception. The main indoor reception spaces are the Millrace Room and abutting Turbine Room. It also abuts the Waterfall Courtyard, where your guests can step out to mingle outdoors. This venue can accommodate weddings of up to 140 attendees in the warmer months and 120 in winter.

Alton Mill Arts Centre offers a wide array of services to ensure your special day leaves a lasting impression on all in attendance. Their standard wedding package includes several function rooms and courtyards, ensuring you and your guests have ample space to celebrate. Their events team is happy to coordinate with artists to provide portrait demonstrations and other entertainment for your loved ones. You can go ahead and organize catering with one of our preferred caterers for the highest quality dishes and service. Alternatively, you may work with an outside caterer for an additional fee. The property hosts an officiant, a floral arranger, and even a jewellery maker! In addition to weddings, this venue can accommodate photo sessions, showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners.
