Tell us your story!: “Kyle and I met in the summer of 2020. The last thing on my mind during the first year of the pandemic was that I’d possibly meet someone. After meeting Kyle online and chatting all night, I took a chance on our first night to go on a date with him. After one date, I had a good feeling about him, so I went on more, and the rest is history.” -L
Ceremony and Reception Location: River Valley Golf & Tube “Kyle and his family have been golfing at River Valley for years. They taught me how to golf there the summer after I met Kyle. We always loved how picturesque the location was as well as how nice and friendly the staff were. It was a no-brainer to have our maroon and navy wedding here when they told us they had our date available.” -L

Best Memory: “It’s hard to pick one because honestly, the whole day was perfect, but we loved dancing the night away with our friends and family.” – L&K
Photographer: Kelly Taylor – The Bridal Lounge Photography “We googled wedding photographers in our area and looked through their work. We loved the photos Kelly had posted, so we went with her! My favorite part of our photos was how she was able to capture the beautiful background in them.” – L
Biggest Challenge: “Our biggest challenge was probably just how little time we had. We got engaged at the end of May. Our vision of a maroon and navy wedding worked best in the fall. We picked October for our wedding, so we didn’t have much time to plan. We tackled it by having help from our parents as well as the staff at the venue.” – L
Advice from one couple to another: “Try to cross things off your list as soon as possible. Also go through all your possible options for your vendors and pick what you and your partner like, not what you think others would like.” – L
