The concept of the shoot is minimalist luxe, featuring a neutral colour palette of blush pink and white tones. This theme is designed for couples who want to personalize a minimalist wedding. Combining the elegance and sophistication of a luxurious affair with the clean aesthetic and simplicity of minimalism. Our goal was to create an effortless and timeless aesthetic for those who want to celebrate their special occasion in a small intimate setting family and friends.
For the decor of a minimalist luxe wedding, we focused on quality and thoughtful details. Instead of an abundance of decorations, we emphasized a few statement pieces that would leave a lasting impression. Trina from Luxe Candles & Decor custom-made flower vases to showcase individual florals and a centerpiece to create an intimate dinner setting. She also designed a beautiful floral arch that can be used for both the ceremony and reception, demonstrating its versatility.
For makeup, we aimed for a neutral colour palette of blush pink that enhances the models features without overshadowing the dress, jewelry, and hair. Dao, the hairstylist, showcased two different hairstyle looks. They were suitable for both the ceremony and reception. Glamorous Hollywood waves and an elegant updo with floral pieces from the bouquet. Mon Bijou Bride provided two beautiful wedding dresses, showing that brides can achieve different elegant, classy, and timeless looks.

Karen, from Calligrafea by Karen provided a beautiful hand painted champagne and engraved flutes to personalized the experience for the couple’s shoot day. Heather from Red Bicycle Paper Co. created a wonderful palette of blush pinks for the stationery. This included invitations, menus, and vow books, that complemented the overall theme. Monita, the cake artist, crafted a modern cake fitting the minimalist luxe theme, adorned with a few sugar flowers, demonstrating that less is more. This aligned perfectly with the florals and decor by Trina. Collins Clothier’s provided a stunning beige and white suit for the style shoot, which fit the aesthetic and complemented model Dwayne Betty’s features.
We aimed to create a serene and elegant atmosphere that allows the couple’s love and connection to shine through. This approach enables couples to design a wedding that is timeless, chic, and embraces the beauty of simplicity without overcomplicating the visual concept. Annie Tran, the photographer, enhanced the overall visual with natural lighting, capturing the beautiful connection between the real-life couple, Tara and Dwayne.
The intimate ceremony and reception celebrated not only their love but also their personal connection on a cherished day. We chose Spencer’s at the Waterfront as the venue for the style shoot as this is a great venue that showcase a perfect location for intimate weddings and reception, provided with beautiful waterfront views and open window concept.

Overall, the team put together their own personalize visuals and creativity that brought out a beautiful theme concept to life that complimented each other very well. This shoot was done back in January 2024, however we wanted to show that this concept can be made for any season of the year!
