“At Lovely Weddings and Events, we are a team committed to designing, planning, and executing stunning weddings and events. Like a lot of designers, we were working on elaborate photoshoots with industry partners to highlight new trends, add to our portfolios, and getting to create without limitations.

It occurred to us, as we were tearing down another beautiful creation, that NO ONE got married in this spectacular vision. There was so much waste, and it never got to be enjoyed by the couples that we were creating it for. With that idea and direction, our Pop Up Weddings were born. Since 2018, we’ve been witness to so many love stories and are so proud of the inclusive experience we are providing.

We book the venue, create and design the space, collect our team of rock-star vendors at the top of their game, and offer that vision to our couples. It’s somewhere between an all-out wedding and showing up at city hall. We work hard to create an intimate experience for our couples and their closest family and friends as they step into our vision as we transform our inspiration board into a real wedding.

We provide an officiant to make it legal, photography, music, décor, florals, planning, toast & treats, all wrapped up in 3 options of packages and pricing to best suit your vision for your wedding starting at $1999. Because several couples are getting married in the same space on the same day (don’t worry, we work hard to make sure you don’t run into each other or feel rushed), you’re sharing the costs between each other, making a Pop Up Wedding an affordable and awesome option for those looking for an intimate wedding ceremony.

Striving to keep each experience unique is our favourite part of what we do. We move around to unique venues all over Ontario, with out-of-the-box designs that are totally extra.

In 2021, we’re taking our concept and team everywhere from a historic Town Hall from the 1800s to a stunning winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake where there’s an Instagram shot at every turn. From the historic Georgian Mansion in the heart of Downtown Toronto to a revived Cotton Factory in Hamilton. We can’t wait to get to work on all the fun we have in store.

The most wonderful part of our Pop Up Weddings is our couples. It’s the tears walking down the aisle, the giggles through the vows, the personalized ceremonies, and the unbridled joy after the I Do’s. These celebrations each hold such a special place in our hearts.
