WEDDING DATE: October 30th, 2021

LOCATION: The Old Court House London, ON

PHOTOGRAPHY: Michelle A Photography “We found Michelle A Photography on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her bio and the natural beauty of her photo gallery. We loved the way our dresses looked together and Michelle was able to capture several pops of colour with the natural elements that surrounded us. She was able to bring our gold and silver wedding to life! We had lots of compliments from our friends and family about how easy Michelle made the photo session. By the end of our wedding night, Michelle didn’t feel like just our photographer, she also felt like our friend.” – A&A

COLOUR PALETTE/THEME: “Our colour palette was different shades of rose gold, gold, bronze, and silver for our Maids of Honor, Bridesmaids, and Bridesmen. We had accents of peach, merlot, and sage in our floral arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres. The overall theme for the wedding was warm, dark, and romantic with a touch of elegance. We added white pumpkins and lots of dark greenery to bring in the touches of a fall evening. With that, our gold and silver wedding came to life!” – A&A

TELL US YOUR STORY: “We met in college in 2010 and quickly became the best of friends. We thought about each other in almost every spare moment. When we were apart, we felt like we should be together. We became closer and closer with each other’s friend groups and families. It wasn’t until the Fall of 2013, we surpassed what we thought was friendship, and realized we were in love.

We expressed our feelings to each other and decided to start a relationship. A year later we moved in together and bought our first house in 2018, adopted some cats, and a dog. We also went through some hard times together, a few life-changing events but it only made us stronger. We always knew we wanted to be together forever, but we were never sure about what marriage or a wedding would entail.

It wasn’t until the Fall of 2019 that we got engaged – Amanda proposed to me with her grandmother’s ring. I proposed back to her in the Winter of 2020, with a ring I designed all on my own that I knew she would love. We picked our wedding date – the date of our unofficial anniversary, October 30th.

After going back and forth about wedding ideas, and we knew that we absolutely could not get married without all of our loved ones. We, including our families and friends, love food, drink, and dancing – so we knew a big celebration was what we wanted and we would not have done it any other way. Our best ladies and guys stood with us, one of our bridesman’s daughters doubled as our flower girl and ring bearer, our moms were escorted down the aisle by our amazing officiant, and our dads walked each of us down the aisle. The weather held out for us, and the day could not have turned out any more perfect.” – A&A
