CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATION: Roseville Estate "We were choosing between Langdon Hall and Roseville Estate because we wanted to choose a venue local to us. We decided on Roseville Estate because we were blown away by the grounds and the venue itself. Having the entire estate to ourselves was something we and that we could get ready there as well. We had the most beautiful Roseville Estate Wedding. The venue is absolutely breathtaking!" - V

PHOTOGRAPHER: Gary Evans Photography "We fell in love with Gary’s style of photography. We booked him a year and half in advance to be sure he would be available! Gary and Kim were phenomenal. They both worked so hard to capture a lifetime of memories for us. We love how the pictures turned out and would absolutely recommend Gary Evan’s Photography. He was the perfect choice to capture our Roseville Estate Wedding." - V&C

TELL US YOUR STORY: "Summer 2013, we were 21 years old. Chris had just finished a baseball game with his friends and I was having a girls night with mine. It was midnight and after some drinks, one of my friends wanted pizza so we went to her boyfriend’s place assuming he would have some.

While it was a huge disappointment that he didn’t... it has gone down in history as one of the best days of my life because I ended up meeting my soulmate. Climbing through the basement window of his best friend’s house, is when Chris and I first laid eyes on each other. He had a silly haircut because he had lost a bet with his hockey team, yet I still fell madly in love with him.

We moved in together after just 2 months of dating, and we have been inseparable since. We became best friends very quickly and would look forward to getting home just so we can do absolutely nothing together. Our first Christmas we went to Cuba, then we took a trip to Hungary so he could meet my family. We both knew from the start that we wanted to put in the work to make sure that we have a happy and healthy relationship. I think what caught us both off guard, was how easy it was.

It felt like we had always known eachother and soon enough we couldn’t imagine our lives without one another. In 2019 we sold our condo in Toronto and bought a house in Cambridge - yay! Shortly after moving, Chris proposed and in 2022 we had our beautiful son named Jason. He is the love of our lives; he’s sweet, kind, hilarious and so smart. He is also super energetic yet calm and full of life, just like we are. With Jason as the cutest ring bearer in the world, we started planning our wedding." - V

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: "Hear me out...planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful! We kept reminding ourselves that this is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and tried to have as much fun as possible during the planning process. The biggest challenge was of course time; the last few months flew by and I found myself putting together bridesmaid gifts and picking out my jewelry the week before our wedding." - V

FAVOURITE MEMORY: "Our best memory was the ceremony. There was so much anticipation leading up to it and it feels like such a big moment but once we were up there reading our vows, time started to slow down and it felt like we were at exactly the right place at the right time. I remember having butterflies our entire ceremony. The laughs we had with our officiant Jeff Maeck was also very memorable - he really made our ceremony personal, funny and romantic." - V

ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "Do not sweat the small stuff, your wedding with be absolutely perfect - imperfections and all. Everyone tells you that time will fly by, and boy are they right. I found having our ceremony and reception all at one location really let us relax and enjoy the day without worrying about any travel time. Another bonus was that we booked our venue and most vendors a year and a half in advance which allowed us the time to properly plan and save as needed.

We also put a lot of thought into who we hired and what vendors we chose to work with. It was a bonus that most of them all knew eachother already. Last piece of advice - write down your speeches! Chris and I decided to wing it and thankfully it went smoothly but it could have been a disaster, especially after you’ve had a few drinks!" - V
