Taylor and Zack’s rustic summer wedding at St. Mary’s Golf and Country Club was the perfect blend of elegance, personality, and heartfelt moments. With 80 loved ones in attendance, the couple created a day that felt true to them—filled with soft grey and quartz tones, lush greenery, and personal touches like a “first touch” instead of a first look, and their beloved pup walking down the aisle. From their serendipitous meeting in 2018 to their joy-filled June celebration, their love story came full circle in a setting as relaxed and beautiful as their bond.
COUPLE: Taylor & Zack
DATE: June 28, 2024
CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATION: St. Mary's Golf and Country Club "We wanted something a little out of town where we hadn't been before. We contacted them, they were so fast and efficient and as soon as we walked in we fell in love with it. The staff there are incredible and we never stressed about anything. It was the perfect place for a rustic summer wedding." - T&Z

PHOTOGRAPHER: K Pellerin Photography "I told a friend of mine that we had our photographer fall through and she suggested someone she was looking at for her wedding. She brought up Kyle Pellerin and said she had been at a wedding for a family member and he was the photographer. She showed me the photos and they were stunning. We thought he would capture our rustic summer wedding perfectly and we messaged him the next day. We are obssessed with our photos. The candid shots are our favorites. They are stunning!" - T
COLOUR PALETTE: "We were going for a rustic summer wedding. Our colour palette was light grey and quartz. We went with greenery and gold accents and had a rustic look. Our head table was made up of harvest tables and we had barrels at the end of the aisle. We wanted an elegant feel but for it to also feel like us." - T
TELL US YOUR STORY: "We met in 2018 while I was in University. Zack and I met on a dating app and I really didnt think it would turn into what it became. The first day we met I knew he was going to be my forever person and he felt the same. We were official within a few days and and with my degree coming to an end, we made the decision to make long distance work.
I drove back and forth from my hometown an hour and a half away almost every day as he worked longer hours than I did. We simple wanted to be together all of the time. After a few months of dating, we decided to move in together. We became inseperable and still are. A couple years later, we grew our little family by adding the best fur baby to our home. Allie is the best thing to happen to us. When we met her she fell asleep in our arms right away. Four years later and she got to walk down the aisle toward her dad on the best day of our lives.
When Zack asked me to marry him, it was the easiest yes. I knew from day one that we would be together forever. Planning our wedding was some of the best times in our relationship. Staying up late, making decisions together and seeing everything fall into place was amazing. We had so much support from everyone and it truly was an incredible experience.
Our wedding day was everything we dreamed for. It was perfect! Everyone we love surrounded us as we became husband and wife. Honestly I could not have imagined anyone who is more perfect for me. We have gone through a lot in our almost 7 years, and each obstacle has only made us stronger. We are each other's best friend.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: "Neither of us had ever been in a wedding party before as an adult. We googled almost everything from the engagement party to the buck and doe and even center pieces and what order to walk down the aisle in. We made it our own, and had so much fun with it, but it was hard to know where to start with some things." - T
BEST MEMORY: Taylor: "We didn't want to do a first look, but I knew we would want to be near each other before the ceremony. We did a first touch on either side of a door. We held hands and took a shot together to cheers our future. It was a moment just us, it was amazing." - TZack: "The moment Taylor stood at the end of the aisle and started walking toward me. I got to see her face for the first time that day and I could feel the nerves but also so much excitement that I was about to marry my best friend." - Z
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "Do what you want to do. It's your wedding, make sure to have fun with it. We also did date night each month on the date of our wedding leading up to it. We refused to talk about the wedding those dates, so we could enjoy things outside of it." - T&Z
