This beautiful Elora Mill wedding celebrated 20 years of love, partnership, and family. Sherri and Deon chose to celebrate the life they had already built together with an intimate and heartfelt wedding. Surrounded by their children, close family, and cherished friends, the couple exchanged vows in a setting that perfectly reflected their relationship—elegant, timeless, and filled with love. With a rich palette of burgundy, gold, ivory, and navy, their October celebration was a meaningful tribute to two decades of partnership, proving that some love stories only grow stronger with time.

TELL US YOUR STORY: We met 20 years ago and it was love at first sight. We knew that we were going to spend forever together. Sometimes life just gets busy and before you know it time has passed.
We have two beautiful children, a home filled with laughter and love and careers that we are proud of. We have done all of the things except get married and have a beautiful day. So for our 20th year together we decided that we should get married and celebrate the love we have for each other and the life that we have built with each other. We wanted to have everyone that we love and who love us together to celebrate with us and make more beautiful memories with us.
When people get married they enter into it with the best of intentions, in love with one another and hoping that they will be together forever. After 20 years it is safe to say that we have stood the test of time. We are each other’s best friend; we do everything together and are so grateful for the busy moments and quiet moments that we have together.
We have experienced love and some very hard loss but we have always done it together and tackled everything head on. We always know that no matter what happens, whatever life throws at us, we are in it together and can get through anything together, as a team. We have been together half of ours lives. It is hard to believe that it has been half a lifetime since we met but time flies when you’re having fun - we find that to be so true. We have a lot of fun together and are always up to something exciting. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "Give yourself lots of time and have fun planning! It goes so fast and you will miss all of those special moments along the way if you're not careful" - S
