LOCATION: Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory “We chose to have our wedding at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory because we fell in love with its unique beauty. A tropical oasis with thousands of butterflies flying around surrounded by gorgeous foliage and a breathtaking cascading waterfall. The team was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Over the many years of planning and replanning, Cayla was kind, supportive, and always patient. For that we are beyond grateful.” – P
TELL US YOUR STORY!: “Our original wedding date was April 25, 2020. We were finalizing the last details of our wedding when the covid pandemic began. The team at the Butterfly Conservatory along with our other vendors were all so accommodating during this confusing time. We couldn’t wait any longer so we decided to have a small ceremony with our closest family and friends on April 10, 2021.
Since we were now married and we still wanted to have a celebration with all of our family and friends, we started to plan the big event again. We then found out we were expecting a baby about a month before the new date was set! Of course, Cayla, Marcie, and Rea were all very understanding and helped us pick a new date which was April 22, 2023.” – P
COLOUR PALETTE: “I love soft pink hues and I really wanted the florals and décor to create an elegant and timeless wedding. I was completely blown away at how stunning the arrangements were.” – P

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “The biggest challenge was planning it during the pandemic because gathering guidelines were continually changing as new information became available.” – P
FAVOURITE MEMORY: “At first we were saddened that we had to wait an additional 3 years to have our wedding, in the end it couldn’t have been more perfect. We were able to have our daughter Olivia at our side during our wedding. Olivia is the sweetest little girl and we are beyond happy to share this beautiful and special memory with her!” – P&D
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: “Even though the planning process can be overwhelming at times, try to have fun!” – P&D
