After a romantic sunset proposal during a hike in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the couple knew they wanted a wedding that reflected their love of the outdoors while creating an intimate atmosphere for their closest family and friends. TELL US YOUR STORY: "Max proposed to me in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on a hike at sunset. We share a love of the outdoors so this felt like the perfect setting for this intimate moment.

We wanted a cozy yet elevated feel to our wedding day. The high ceilings, cozy fireplace and timber columns made Grey Silo Golf Course a perfect choice for us. Edison lights brought a warm glow to the space and set the stage for an intimate dinner with our closest family and friends. Deep pink and burgundy florals added to the natural beauty of the room.

On our wedding day, we saw each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. Later on in the evening, guests of all ages were drawn to the dance floor to join in a polka dance, a nod to Max's German heritage.

At the end of the evening, our friends and family left the room and each grabbed a bubble wand to prepare for our grand exit, we were surrounded by a sea of bubbles and cheering friends and family." - K
