A simple and elegant wedding with a touch of emo, was what Whitney and Mitchell wanted for their big day. Using a colour palette of Forest green, Ivory and Black, they were able to achieve exactly what they wanted!

We visited for the first time in February and even through the bare trees and dusting of snow, the clearring took our breath away. It is even more breathtaking in Mid-September.” – W
RECEPTION LOCATION: Best Western Stoneridge Inn “We have been going to Pastos restaurant inside the Stoneridge Inn for years, so it was a natural choice. Natalie and Maggie worked tirelessly to make our ideas come to life.” – W

Amanda was so easy and fun and really brought out the most natural side of us, which is reflected in her work. TELL US YOUR STORY: “We would love to say it was love at first sight but the truth is, neither of us can actually remember the moment we met. We became friends through grade 10 summer school and grew closer as the years went on. Mitchell fell in love with me and told me as much. It would be another 2 years before I realized I had felt the same and we would actually start dating.
A kiss on boxing day on the bottom step at his parents’ house was the last thing I was expecting, but turned out to be the thing I was waiting for my whole life.
After 8 years of Thursday date nights at Crabby Joe’s with our favourite server, Mitchell forming the sweetest bond with my little dog Buddy, and learning to grow and fall in love with each new version of each other, we found our little apartment and made it our home.
8 years to the day of that fateful kiss, Mitchell asked me to be his wife.” – W

BEST MEMORY: Whitney: “The look on Mitchell’s face when I finally met him at the front of the aisle, seeing our future in his eyes.”
Mitchell: “Seeing my best friend walk towards me and knowing it was the start of the rest of our lives.”
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: “Make it only what you want and nothing that you don’t. This day is about the two of you, no one else. Choose your biggest priorities, whether thats music, food, venue etc., and don’t compromise on them. Everything else is just filler.” – W
