Melissa and John's Lincoln Estates wedding in Lincoln, Ontario, was a real-life fairytale filled with romance, family traditions, and meaningful details. After meeting at just 17 years old, the couple finally celebrated the wedding why had always dreamed of with an elegant Beauty and the Beast inspired theme, featuring apple red and real blur details, red roses, and romantic candelabras. Their day began with a heartfelt ceremony at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, a church that held generation of family memories, before continuing to the stunning vineyard setting of Lincoln Estates. From Scottish hand fasting traditions and a Polish "Sto Lat" serenade to a beautiful horse and carriage arrival with their horse, Gracie, every moment was thoughtfully chosen to honour their families and their love story. With tributes to their late fathers woven throughout the day, Melissa and John's celebration was more than a fairytale wedding - it was a heartfelt reflection of the people and traditions that brought them together.

GUEST #: 125
CEREMONY LOCATION: St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish
RECEPTION LOCATION: Lincoln Estates "John and I searched from March to November, 3 years before our wedding date to find our venue. We visited Edgewater Manor, and met Bastian. We told him what our dream wedding would be if we could fine it, and he told us that they just purchased, a place that described our dream wedding place. We visited Lincoln Estate and John and I looked at each other and said 'this is it!' at the same time. It was our perfect place, our vision and dream." - M
PHOTOGRAPHER: Timeless Media "We originally met our photographer at the Wedding Ring Show. We went to many bridal shows and researched extensively. At each bridal show we ran into Justin. He is a wonderful photographer, easy to approach, great personality, very easy to talk/brainstorm with and if there are any parts to the wedding I wasn't sure, he was right there supporting all the way through. He went above and beyond to make our day so special. I would highly recommend Justin, Timeless Media." - M&J
COLOUR PALETTE: Apple Red & Royal Blue, with touches of Beauty and the Beast and French Pavillion.
TELL US YOUR STORY!: "John and I met at a Hockey game when we were 17 years old. The problem was, I started dating another guy! John was too slow to ask me out and was upset and I didn't know why. When that relationship ended and John found out, he did not hesitate to immediately ask me out on a date. On our first date we went to Niagara Falls and took a carriage ride thru the Festival of Lights. It was the best first date!
When John proposed we went back to Niagara Falls during the Festival of Lights and he proposed under the tunnel of lights! It was the perfect day." - M

BEST MEMORY: "The whole wedding day! We particularly loved our horse and carriage that arrived at Lincoln Estates for us. We met the horse that pulled our carriage a year in advance, her name was Gracie, from Fairytale Horse. She was a lovely horse! Gorgeous, very well behaved and they 'blinged' her shoes out for our day! John and I love horses and loved having this as part of the day, it made an incredible memory." - M
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "Do your research, don't rush things and take the time to stop and take in the moments as you go along. The wedding day goes fast, take in moments throughout the day to soak it into your memory forever. Put some money into a special moment. We did our Horse and Carriage as our special splurge, these parts really enhance your memories and are worth it." - M
